Sir,

Whether Board of Resolution is mandatory for corporate company for central excise authorized signatory or only letter to superintendent is enough?

We manufacture packing bags and intend to supply them to a rice exporter without levying excise duty. The exporter will export rice using these bags. Can we do so under ARE 1 or ARE 2? Also, can we claim rebate under rule 18 of excise duty paid on inputs used in manufacturing of these bags?

my query is that we will purchase all the raw materials for capital goods,we assemble it and use this for production purpose.whether excise duty paid on raw materials purchase for assemble of capital goods can be availed as cenvat credit.please clarify and if any notification is there for the same.

A new SSI unit is having Excise registration (Turnover is less than Rs.150 lacs) is there any mandatory rules to get registered with Service Tax registration also.
