Cenvat reversal under rule 3(5a)

Whether we have to reverse the CENVAT credit of custom duty availed on imported capital goods if they are removed after use. In excise we always reverse the same if excise cenvat was availed by us under rule 3(5A) of CENVAT CREDIT RULES 2004.

Applicability of excise duty

One of my client is setting up Manufacturing of Bio Briquettes ( White Coal) from agricultural waste.

So on this process is excise duty applicable?
and if any then what rate?
Any other tax applicable on this manufacturing activity.
