A company estimated sales of 4000 units in June 2013. and plant capacity is only 50 units per day.
and planned to start the production from March 2013, so that the 4000 units can be produced by the end of May 2013.
However the company printing manufacturing date as 01.04.2013, on the units produced in 08.03.2013 and also the further units produced in March 2013, saying that units which were produced are stored in the godown and same will be sold in market after April 2013.
please advise me whether the companies viwe is correct?

The branch office of a company is in maharashtra. company registered is in gurgaon. Now a person which is in employment in the company, and serve his duty in maharashtra then, is professional tax applicable on him?

I want to purchae one asset. Two options are available for me. Either to make up front payment or deffer it.
It is agreed with the supplier to pay Rs. 1,00,000 after 28 months. Present rate of interest for my FD is 9% p.a.
Now if I want to make up front payment what would be the present value of Rs. 1,00,000 to be paid after 28 months. FD interest is compounded quarterly.
I am finding difficulty in calculation of PV. Can anybody help me in this? What is the formula to be used?

I want to know the meaning of Attest function under the CA Act.

A Chartered Accountant in service can't perform the attest function so what is the meaning of attest function.

Whether certification of any document (Like certificate to open Letter of Credit-LC is also covered under the attest function.

Please reply the meaning of attest function.


whether Part time COP holder can sign the certificate which required by bank to open LC (Letter of Credit) under international transaction.
