Did ICAI pass proposal of increase in stipend or not? Because I heard that ICAI passed it but Parliament is still not passed it.

Regarding the stipend increase for CA students or articled assistants:
As of the last updates in 2013, the ICAI had proposed an increase in stipend for articled assistants.
However, the final approval depends on various authorities and possibly government or parliamentary clearance if it involves regulatory changes.
So, while ICAI may have passed a proposal internally, the official increase and implementation are subject to final approval.
There isn’t a fixed date or confirmation yet on when the stipend hike will come into effect.
