sir,
we are carrying on business on partner ship firm consisting of 4 partners at equal share of 25% each and we registered at register of firms.we are located in andhra pradesh.
now one partner is retiring and we make altered partner ship deed. we went to register of firms to registe the change.
the register asking for 5% stamp duty on all property of firm as per market value.for valuation he is not allowing bank loans.

is there any case to pay stamp duty and how do we calculate market value of firm.please clarify.very urgent

i have an query if asset is under WIP and some income receive from it what is the treatment. for eg- i have an asset valued Rs 100 crore and asset is completed but no completion certificate received till date and income earn from it Eg. Rent than what is the treatment of rent is this revenue income or it should be less from Capital WIP????

We are doing automobile business, turnover crossed. Whether we should follow accounts book or not.

I wrongly passed entry in balance sheet for audit fee via cash but it was paid in next FY.i.e it was to be shown as payable. how can i correct my mistake or i need not correct it. My CA has already signed it and he doesnt know about this.
