i want to know about the capitalisation of plant and machinery.

my query is that there are various palnt and machinery purchased and end of the F.Y. the company could able to start only few palnt and mahchinery.
and there is capital expenditure on pipe line for the whole plant and machinery.

so my question is that whether capital expenditure on pipe line should be treated as separte asset or whether it can be transfered to various plant and machinery?

Untill now Accounting Standard (AS) 17 Segment Reporting was not applicable since Companys operations consist
of providing Software Development and IT enabled services to company offices located at USA,UK,Japan i.e. within Group.

I just wanted know whether Accounting Standard (AS) 17 Segment Reporting is applicable due to Branch office in Singapore.

We have got a pollution control board approval to increase the capacity of our plant subject to the one of the condition that is development of greenbelt around the factory and in vacant plances to utilise treated effluent water. Can we treat the expenditure incurred for development of green belt as capital nature?
