If we give Travel advance to our employee , than should it be recorded in ' Payments ' or in " Journal " ?
our firm received refund of rs 60000 from society. now they r saying to adjust monthly society maintenance charge from that money till it completes. they have not given cash or chq. how to pass journal
Q. amount recd from Govt. of rajasthan to a local body (muncipality) for construction of a boundry wall Rs. 60000. And cost of constructed boundry is 425000. Both transaction are in same year and both party are Govt. institution.
what accounting treatment that I should give in books of accounts of muncipality. And which accounting standards are applicable on this

I am no. 1 guarantor in a personal loan of Rs. 25000/- and with interest it become around Rs. 50000/-. I have Rs.450000/- FD in same bank. Now bank hold my fund telling me personal loan in which I am guarantor is NPA account.
Please help to know whether any co operative bank or any bank can hold the fund of guarantor without taking any legal action against NPA borrower. Please give me references to withdraw my money.

whether accrued interest on FD should be added to FD and then calculate the accrued interest for next year or on the principal amount only .......
If i got a Insurance in Sep 13 of Rs. 100/- for one year then it will be calculated as prepaid insurance like - 100/12(months)= 8.33*7(Sep to March)= 58.33,
100-58.33=41.66
Now 41.66 Rs is countable as Prepaid Insurance is it or not?
If not then how can we calculated Pre-paid Insurance?
There is an hr policy in a company in which employees are provided a car and in return the employees have to pay some EMI(which is deducted from salary every month for 4 years).So what should be the entry for the EMI. Depreciation is claimed by company and not employee.
