We have found some purchase and job work bills on which dates are appeared on or before 31st march 2011.
but goods had received in April 2011 and May 2011 and the date of booking of these transactions are of September 2011.
My question is
1) "can we booked these transaction in F.Y.
2011-12"
2) "are these expenses allowed to be debited
in p&l account for assessment purpose?

First of all the base document to book purchase should be delivery challan or goods receipt note which shows the quantity of goods received. The transactions mentioned by you should be booked in April & May when you received goods. These transactions will be allowed as normal business exp. provided you have relevant documents.
