Is there any change in the basis of Charge for service Tax . If yes what, and from when

No change in charging the Service Tax

no change of charging service tax. but the point of taxation has been changed from receipt basis to accrual basis

Effective from 1/7/2011 receipt basis is changed to due basis except for certain professionals. For details pl see "point to taxation rules,2011".
