Bank employee did mistake in filling assessment year in olta

In challan status enqiry , it shows assessment year 2012-13 but i had given for 2014 assessment year.
now any way to rectify it?

Write a Request letter to Bank along with a copy of challan and printout of details reflected in OLTAS for correction in assessment year which is due to the mistake of Bank Official.

you mean oltas- challan status enquiry along with challan. and can it corrected because some where i read that to correct assessment year only 7 days are allowed.

You must have checked it. Otherwise how you know the Assessment Year is wrong.

yes. i have checked it. with details like bsr code and challan no with amount. but now by giving request letter is it possible to do correction?

7 days rules is when its mistake by you. See link below--

But since its mistake committed by Bank and you also have the evidence for that in the form of counterfoil of challan you should ask bank to make the correction.

ok.Thanks.for assessment year 2015-16, i submit tax to bank. is challan status enquiry available same day when bank deduct money to my account.
