I have query ralating to Articleship leave calculation ...please clear my doubt on the given eample...

If i have taken leave of 250 days (including exams and other leave which does not part of working days)

So..as per Institute Regulation No 59 how much extension days i have to work...

05 February 2014 Assuming your articleship training period is 3 years then you have 110 days of excess leaves, so your articleship training period shall extent for 110 days.

In case if your articleship training period is 3.5 years then you have 79 days of excess leaves, so your articleship training period shall extent for 79 days.

07 February 2014 Because of more extension , i have to drop my Ca final 1st attempt or not

Or I can give exams then can i continue with my Articleship..Is it possible

07 February 2014 including extended articleship training period (due to the excess leaves) your remaining articleship training period is below 6 months as on the first day of exams commencing month then you are eligible for that attempt, So compute your eligible attempt based on above provision, if you couldn't it get then please provide your date of commencement of articleship and period of articleship training(3 yrs or 3.5 yrs).

07 February 2014 My articleship traing period is 3 years.
If,
1) Till My Exams ( Not Including Exams of 20 days ) i have taken leave of 230 days.
2) balance articleship Period remaining after Exams is 93 Days

In this Case Can i able to give my 1st ateempt on time

07 February 2014 As computed above you have 110 days of leave.However you saying 20 days for because of attending to exams, so such leaves are exempted so your excess leaves are 90 days, Means your balance period of articleship after exams including excess leaves is 183 days which is more than 6 months as on the first day of exam commencing month, So you are not eligible for your First eligible attempt(Actually,Means no excess leaves case) and your attempt is postponed to next attempt.
