10 March 2012 i am a student of b.com hons final year and i am doing it from a regular college. also, i've cleared both groups of IPCC. now i need to register for my articleship. can you tell me if i can register for it at present without quitting the regular college?

10 March 2012 If you are not quoting about your degree you have to face problem at the time of getting of membership if you disclosed your degree at that time. I think your degree would be complete by march or April of this year so after completion of the degree you can register for articleship then no problem earises to you otherwise convert to the distance education mode. There is another choice to you if your degree will be complete with in one month then register for articleship now and request your employer provide leave upto completion of the exams of the degree and it would be consider as leave to you however total 152 days leaves are allowable by ICAI during the Articlship period. I Think you are understanded me. Other wise post not your doubt about my explanation i will give clarify.

11 March 2012 thank you so much for replying. but i have one more doubt regarding this. i have my final exams in may which are likely to be completed by mid-june. if i register between 20-30 march and then ask my employer for a leave till mid-juhe, in that case my attempt can be saved legally and then i can disclose my degree also. can it be done that way?

12 March 2012 Yes,You can do like that. If you have any query regarding acceptance of form 112 write a letter to the ICAI along with the leave letter of you.
