01 March 2012 Hi, I have started my articleship from 20th Nov'11 after my exams. And have cleared my both groups of IPCC in Nov'11 attempt which result was declared on 9th feb'12. So , could this period from my exams given till the result declared tenure will be counted in my article ship period or not and when would my final attempt would fall either in May'14.

01 March 2012 If you produced the evidence to the payment of staipend by your employer then the period would be consider as your service period in such case your final attempt would be Nov'14.

But could there be no way on to fall my Final attempt for MAy'14.

Or The most earlier final attempt for IPCC students who have cleared in NOV'11 attempt as per my above case, as in such i am totally wasted my up coming next 6 months from MAy'14-Nov'14 in waiting for my final attempt, originally if counts my 2.5yr. of article period would have completed in MAy'14. Plz reply...

02 March 2012 2.5 yrs of article period should be completed on last date of the preceding month of the commencement of the exams i.e for may-2014 attempt should be completed on 30-4-2014 but your 2.5 yrs of article period complete on 20-5-14 i.e after completion of the may-2014 exams so you are not eligible for may-2014. However institute considering to allow the students who completed their article ship period of 2 yrs to give final attempt if this decision is approved by your attempt then you will be eligible form may-14 attempt but no chance to prior attempt to this period. Don't worry The ICAI decision will be good luck to you. ALL THE BEST.
