HIII i m new article asistant and on my 1st audit..How to check withdrawals & Deposits???

For any banking transactions check bank statement with bank book.
For deposits check bank deposit slips (most important 3rd party doc. for deposit verification) and its entries in books of accounts. In addition cross check whether the deposits (Cash/Cheque) are with against Sales or any any transactions.
For withdrawal, check the bank statement with with cheque counterfoils. Check whether cash in excess of limits have been withdrawn. Also cheque the contra-entries for the same.
