23 June 2009 wht r the reasons onthe basis of which transfer can be taken from one firm to another firm?

23 June 2009 See as per the recent notification pronounced by the ICAI, no article can take transfer within the same city specially in first 6 months of your articleship and last 12 months of your articleship. Transfer is possible in only two cases: -
01. in case of transfer of your parents from one state to another
02. on Ground of Medical Reason

And if you study or go by the notification, scope of transfer is kept open in special cases. if you wanna take transfer and not covered by the aforesaid reason approach direct to ICAI & ask for any remedy..

But (i dont know it is rumor or something else) ICAI is going to revise its notification issued by it and allowed to take transfer within the same city. Take special care of notification issued in this regards.
