27 December 2012 I have been the statutory auditor of Private limited company since 2008 can continue as statutory audtitor or rotation applicable

As per the Companies Act, 1956 you are eligible to appoint as statutory auditor because rotation policy is not applicable under the Companies Act, 1956.

In new Companies Bill, for auditor, a new rotation policy is introduced. But the Bill is not applicable until it is approved by Parliament. So wait and watch when new Bill was passed by Rajya Shabha.
