is the excise duty applicable to the firm.

22 June 2012 Small scale exemption is available upto 1.5 crores in a year. If the manufacturer wants to issue excise invoice to his customer, he need not avail exemption and start collecting excise duty. The general rate of excise duty for plastic under Chapter 39 is 12.36%. please check up the exact chapter 8 digit code.
