09 February 2011 Agree with you. You can also deposit appeal fee by challan for TDS in which you will not require PAN. Morever, it is matter of TDS and therefore, this challan will be accepted.

09 February 2011 in tds challan, section code is to be filed , in which code I depsoit the tax.

if i deposit it in tds challan, it will show in challan mismatch while filing tds return.

09 February 2011 Please tick perhaps code 400 (other than self assessment) and then fill up against penalty. I think it will serve your purpose.
