22 May 2015 I would like to know whether annual return certification by a company secretary in hole time practice is compulsory for all companies,if no pl let me know the criteria.
Is Compliance certificate, totally over or is it still applicable for certain class of companies.

Rule 11(2) of Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014 Provides that: “The Annual return, filed by a listed company or a company having PAID-UP SHARE CAPITAL OF TEN CRORE RUPPES OR MORE OR TURNOVER OF FIFTY CRORE RUPEES OR MORE shall be certified by Company Secretary in Practice & certificate shall be in Form No: MGT 8.

Requirement of compliance certificate is done away with.
