10 August 2014 Has all proposals of direct tax (like increase in tax limit, 80C limit & Interest benifit for self occupied) are approved by presidemt ?

Has act is applicable now ?

can employer calculate taxable salary after giving all benifits proposed by shri Arun Jately....

10 August 2014 the ans is yes as both the houses have given their consent

10 August 2014 1. No President has not given the assent yet. The Act has not yet been notified.

2. However, yes, the employers can start giving the benefits to their employees because as and when the Act is notified, it will be effective 1 April 2014.
