22 June 2016 Please Help.

I am little bit confused about ICAI wording relarting to allowable leaves to article assistant. n layman's term i am saying that i wad taken leave for study for 176 days i.e.(128 days first attempt) and (48 days for 2nd attempt) including exam days. Apart from such leave I was always on leave each month for approx. 3 days each month for pretty reasons. Hence total pretty reasons leave (not for final study) = 90 days. I want to know whether my articleship period has been extended or it is within limit ? Please reply in simple layman's term. Because there is so mush mess in interpretation of ICAI language.

26 June 2016 You are entitled for six months of leave during your training period which is 180 days. Now if you have taken leave during the entire training period (both exam and other leaves) is more than 180 days, then excess leave taken by you should be served.

27 June 2016 Whether exam timetable days (15 days) are leave days or served days. Please clarify.
