I want to ask that what is the procedure of cacellation of service tax no?is it necessary to pay service tax of last quarter before cancellation of service tax no?

13 July 2012 Before cancellation, if any service tax is due to be paid, then you have to remit. Otherwise, there is no need to pay and you can go for cancellation in the aces.gov.in site. After cancellation, go to the range with a copy of the cancellation RC and get an acknowledgement.
