30 March 2016 AS PER INC-12, WHEN I AM ENTERING NUMBER OF KEY MANAGERIAL PERSONNEL 0 MESSAGE IS SHOWING NUMBER OF KEY MANAGERIAL PERSONNEL SHOULD BE GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 1. MY QUERY IS THAT IS IT MANDATORY TO APPOINT KMP IN SECTION 8 COMPANY?

Only Listed Companies and Public companies having paid up share capital of Rs. 10 Cr or more are required to appoint KMP.

However companies not required to appoint KMP and paid up share capital of Rs. 5 Cr or more are required to appoint Whole-time company secretary as KMP
