05 October 2013 Sir/Madam, I have registered for my articles on May 2nd 2013, after completing my orientation and ITT. and going to take up my IPCC (both Groups) exams on May 2014. I heard that GMCS-1 Must be completed Within 1 year of Articleship i.e., by May 2014. When enquired in Institute they are telling to come after completing 10 months of article-ship,is it necessary to complete it by 1 Year of articles or After 1 year also we can do that send me the links(if any).

05 October 2013 The Council has decided that the General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS) Programme, presently being organized for 15 days for the CA students should be organized twice during the period of articled training as under:

(i) GMCS-I (15 days) - during 1st year of articled training

(ii) GMCS-II (15 days) - after completion of 18 months of training but before completion of articled training.
