About exemption

15 February 2010 I failed in both groups of PCC.But i have got exemption in A/C ( Marks-66),so to pass in PCC how many marks i have to score in both groups individually or collectively?

15 February 2010 In oredr to pass in one group u have to score 50% in aggregate and 40 marks in each subject at least.

In ur case, Accounts is 66 so u require 84 in this group with minimum 40 in each subject.

However, if u apply for both group, then u can clear both group , if u get 50% in aggregate of both groups . ie. 300/600 and 40 marks in each subject..

Ur case..
Account is 66. So if inaggregate u get 234 in rest 5 subjevts with min of 40 marks in each subject..u can clear both groups..although even if u didn't get 50% in group 1 or 2.
But the condition is valid only if u give both groups together.

15 February 2010 Example..If groups given seperately
Group 1
Accounts 66
Audit 42
Law 42
Total 150
Pass

Group 2 - Minimum 40 in each subject and aggregate of 150 marks.

If Both groups are given >

Account - 66
Rest all subjects with min..40 and aggregate minimum of 234.

If group 1 total is 148 and group 2 is 152..Then Pass.

If group 1 Total is 160 and Group 2 total is 140 then pass...
BUT EACH SUBJECT MINIMUM MARKS IS 40 is applicable in both cases.
