I have a query. A company can give a gift of an asset to its employee. Please give comment on this.

16 November 2015 Yes company can give an asset to its employees but tax deductible if the value exceeds Rs 5000.

16 November 2015 Thanks Seetharaman, Can you please clarify on this. How much tax to be deducted by the company.but a company not purchased a new asset. Company give a gift from their asset already in their books.
