Yes company can give an asset to its employees but tax deductible if the value exceeds Rs 5000.

Thanks Seetharaman, Can you please clarify on this. How much tax to be deducted by the company.but a company not purchased a new asset. Company give a gift from their asset already in their books.

Add the amount with salary and deduct applicable TDS>
