kindly tell me the following......
if LIC premium cheque is deposited on 10 March 2015 but not cleared till 31march 2015. can deduction be claimed in AY 2015-16..

Check the LIC premium receipt. You can claim the deduction on payment basis. Date on LIC receipt will be considered.
