Sir,
whether a minor or a person not filing return of income because his income does not exceed maximum amt not chargeable to tax is also required to give 15G certificate to bank for not deducting TDS on interest on FD if interest amount exceeds rs.10000.

Form 15G in duplicate and copy of PAN card may be given other wise tax will be deducted @ 20 % under section 206AA of the Income tax Act,1961.
