Sir,
My name ramesh i wam working as manager accounts for a public sector undertaking company the query is for the f.y 20010-11 our consultant wrongly mentioned as pavnot avl in the place PAN as a result IT department issued notice for payment differencial amount on calculation it @20%, actually PAN is available with us
kindly advise us on this issue.

Revise your TDS return and mention PAN of the deductees.

we have filed revised return, PAN numbers are accepted but the notice issued for differential amount remained same.

Reply to the notice and wite that PAN of the deductees are available.
