Wrong digital signature attached

By mistakely i have attached the digital signature of the person who is not director in the company stating him as director while filing the tax audit.What will be its consequences?

A return which in not properly signed by assessee or not signed by the proper authority it will be invalid return. Better to file revise return immediately with correct signature.

An unsigned/wrongly signed return is void ab into. It shall be treated as if no return of income has been filed. And return can be revised only if the return has been filed previously. Hence belated return u/s 139(4) should be filed.

Interest u/s 234A @1% per month on simple interest basis shall be payble.
Penalty u/s 271B can also be levied by AO if audit report is not submitted upto the due date.
