11 October 2012 Can a whole-time director be appointed for a period of six years at a time ?

11 October 2012 Hi,

Generally, the term of WTD means for whole time employment. The term is whole but if you want to appoint such director for 6 years, the Companies Act, 1956 not imposing any restriction for that.

But i will suggest you to appoint him for whole time without limiting any period.
