Excise is applicable when goods exits from factory gate, If a company has rented some part of the factory to other company which is used as a raw material for that company.

Will excise will be applicable as goods have not crossed the factory gate??

01 May 2014 Taxable event for excise is Manufacture of goods, only removal from factory is base for valuation of goods, so here excise is already applicable those goods, only valuation need to done for assesable value based one the transfer from one company to other under same premises
