20 November 2014 Since your turnover exceeds Rs. 9 lakhs you are liable to get yourself registered under service tax.

However service tax liability will arise only when your turnover exceeds Rs. 10 lakhs.

Service tax will be applicable on invoices issued after reaching the limit of Rs. 10 lakhs. Service tax will NOT be applicable on the first Rs. 10 lakhs.
