Service Tax does Not Depend on State by State.
Its Same in All India.
SEcondly Goods are Not Covered under Service Tax Purview.
On Goods No Service Tax is Chargeable, Only VAT,CST,Excise, Custom is Chargeable.

Service tax is 12.36% and is applicable throughout india including A.P.
with effect from 01.07.12 negative list is introduced which means all services are taxable except the negative list. So, kindly visit the CBEC website and see all the relevant notification. Suppose you need any specific question on applicability of service tax, write to us.
