is it compulsory to file Wealth Tax Return or not if there is no Wealth Tax Liability

There is no need to file Wealth Tax Return, if you are not covered under that tax.

Thanks for the reply, but for F.y. 2009-10 i have paid wealth tax & filled Wealth TAx return also but for the F.y. 2010-11 i had NIL wealth tax liability. so is it ok

Hi
I will suggest if you have filed WTR for FY 2009-10 then, if in the FY 2010-11 is NIL, in that you file NIL WTR. It will be a good practice.
