my client wants to file wealth tax return and pay wealth tax this year bt he has not filled the same in earlier years in which he was liable to pay wealth tax and file return then are there some chances of scrutiny for non paying nd not filling return for wealth tax for the earlier years
kindly guide....

Yes in this case dept may issue notice for prey years if the amount of wealth tax and value of assets are too high for filling 1st year.
