Wavier of late fees

Though the service tax paid was more than 10 lakhs we filed the return manually for the 2nd half ended March 2010.

Is there a possibility to ask for waiver of late fees.

13 January 2011 Please refer the Notification No. 01/2010-Service Tax, dated 19-2-2010

Notification is effected from 1.4.2010 which is FY 2010-11, so you can ask the department to paper return as accepted one
