AS I KNOW THE WARD AND CIRCLE OF THE ASSESSEE IN CASE OF SALARY IS DECIDED ON THE NAME OF THE EMPLOYER. HOWEVER WHEN I AM FILLING ON LINE RETURN WHETHER IT IS THE WARD AND CIRCLE OF THE EMPLOYER OR THE WARD AND CIRCLE ALLOTTED DURING THE APPLICATION OF PAN WILL BE FILLED. PLEASE GUIDE.
APERSON HAVING A PAN NO APPLIED FROM KOLKATA WHICH WAS HIS RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS NOW HE IS IN DELHI WORKING INACOMPANY AND RESIDING IN DELHI. NOW WHICH WARD AND CIRCLE TO BE GIVEN IN THE e RETURN. PLEASE GUIDE.

Hi,
By filing returns online will not change the ward/circle or in other words, it will not change the jurisdiction of the assessing officer.Hence, in case of salary income, You will have to file return in the ward/circle where your employers name is covered.
