11 May 2016 If you sell it to other state...it will be inter state sale and will be governed by CST act. In Maharashtra, therefore, what dealers do is they sell goods ex shop......the purchaser then carries the goods to his/her state. That is how the four corners of law are adhered to.

11 May 2016 Sir, In some cases ex shop sale may not be possible. It is pre decided condition that we have to arrange for transportation upto there factory gate for out of maharashtra client. in such cases do we have to pay CST/Vat on the same?? if yes then at what percentage. please guide.

11 May 2016 01. purchased from outside maharashtra.....goods have entered the maharashtra territory and then sold out of maharashtra.......CST is applicable.
02. purchased from within maharashtra...... sold outside maharashtra...CST is applicable.
