Dear sir,
If property is goods is getting transferred from one person to another and that goods is taxable under VAT Act of that state, then VAT is applicable otherwise no. You need to check this basis test and then decide.

Sir,
We are selling note sorting machine and also providing services to the customer (Bank). Now some people is saying that AMC is as like sale and service you must be levied VAT on amc amount, however we are levied only service tax. In this regard we have a lot of confusion so please advise.
