We want to purchase some material from Chennai & sell it to Chennai customer (sale in transit) for his own use. What will be the sales tax scenario (Local VAT / CST). We want to quote lump some price to him inclusive of all taxes & duties.
How much will it be charged? Who will bear it?

It depends on your registered place of business. If you are from Tamil Nadu only then it will be VAT otherwise it will be CST.
