AS 2 doesnot apply to valuation of live stock unless the following condition is satisfied.
-when the homogenous market doesnot exist and there is major risk of failure to sell the stock.
If as per above the AS is not applicable then the stock can be valued at net realisable value which may be certified from the experet.
