Type of stamp to be fixed on share certificate

01 January 2013 Dear Experts,

Please clarify whether to fix agreement stamp or revenue stamp on share certificates of private limited company while issuing new share certificates.

Every State have different process for stamping of Share Certificate on issue of share Certificate. In case of Delhi State you will pay duty to Treasurar and they will issue stamp duty Certificate, whereas in Noida, you can issue share certificate by stamping of Rs. one Revenue.

So check what kind of stamp duty is applicable on your state.
