What is the scope for Chartered Accountants to practice in the field of Transfer Pricing?

In most of the cases; it is a matter of INTERNATIONAL TAXATION.
.
This is the most controversial tax-law provision which bears the following various aspects at the time of considereation :
1. Related Party Transactions.
2. Related Price of Home Country.
3. Related Price at the Time of Export/Import.
4. International prices of commodity in various countries.
5. Transactions entered into with/at Tax Heaven Countries.
6. Cost of Production vis-a-vis Sale price
&
Many more points as per the the 'VISION' of the authorities dealing such transactions for the purpose of Taxation.
Until and unless one is having good liaison with the authorities; it is very tough task to practice in such area.
The practice is tough because the transactions run into crores of rupees and a single mistake of professional may put the client company into great trouble.
The assessee company will also not hire the services of the CA until he has good establishment in the field of INTERNATIONAL TAXATION.
