Transfer of tin number

15 April 2014 Dear experts,

Please guide in the below case:

A sole proprietory business having TIN incorporated its business with sole proprietor being one of the director in the company.

Can the TIN number which was originally allotted to Sole proprietor be transferred to Company

15 April 2014 well, i dont think so. even if the company take over the proprietorship, the company VAT registration shall take care of the business of the proprietorship

So, in that case,

The business of the new company will remain the same as the sole prorietor choose to incorporate its business. There is nothing like sale of business by the sole proprietor.

Do we need not apply fresh TIN for company or old TIN of proprietorship will serve the purpose?

YOU CAN SUBMIT REQUEST FOR CHANG IN NAME IN RC THEN DEPTT MAKE ALL FORMALITY AS YOU APPLY NEW RC LIKE SURITY BONDS,ADDRESS OF CO., SECURITY MONEY IN FD FORM IF APPLICABLE IN STATE, MOA, PAN OF COMPANY, DIRECTORS, ADDRESS OF DIRECTORS, ETC.

YOU CAN ALSO APPLY FOR NEW TIN.
