Transfer of share market trading account

Presently I have Trading Account with one of the famous share broker. But the service level is poor. Response level for my request in taking positions for buy and sale, is very slow. Due to this, I have lost some good opportunities. Can I transfer the Trading Account to some other broker without affecting any financial loss or transfer expenses ? Does SEBI allow customers to do this? I mean the same facility we have in mobile portability.

It is possible, but your expenses will be increased for the same. You can open a new account with different broker and transfer the all shares to this account.
