what is threshold limit for registration under service tax from f.y. 2005 to 2011.

The threshold limit has been increased from 8 - 10 lakhs in the budget of 2008.
The following threshold exemptions limits have been in force during different points of time-
Notification No. Date Limit (Rs) W.e.f.
6/2005-ST 1.3.2005 Rs 4 lakh 1.4.2005
4/2007-ST 1.3.2007 Rs 8 lakh 1.4.2007
8/2008-ST 1.3.2008 Rs 10 lakh 1.5.2008
