This query is : Resolved

08 October 2009 if the rent payer is an indivisual and his income is not liable U/s 44AB, but he has to pay rent more than Rs. 120000 p.a to an indivisual (House owner) whose annual turnover exceeds taxable limit, then what should be done in this case? TDS to be done by the rent Payer or not?

08 October 2009 you don't have to deduct T.D.S. and the owner will pay tax on his taxable income.
