TDS return in old version now revised return

07 September 2010 actually did tds for fy 08-09 did in old version of fvu say 2.1 or some earlier version. then must do revise return. the dept said do in new version model say 2.128 fvu.

when import into the software it says use old version.

i do tds on free software provided by nsdl return prep utility. i dont have old version. also if revise in old version and file they reject as they rejected our revised return filed in old and sent notice file in new format.

wat is solution. how to do revised return of old fvu in new version 2.128

08 September 2010 you can give the FVU file in any NSDL centre, they will convert in to new version and upload

08 September 2010 If you have that old FVU file in your system, then just check the property of the file to see the version.

Then from the Income tax site, you can download the older version of utility software.
