Please guide me what is the procedure for filing TDS Return of State Government Employees?

08 October 2013 the procedure to file TDS return remains same for any assessee.

But if I am not wrong, you wish to file return for some govt department. Employees don't file TDS return, employers do.

The problem which I am facing in filing TDS return is the challan file which we download after matching of amount and challan number is not getting downloaded since no records available is getting reflected there.

08 October 2013 can you be a bit clear. When u say that u have already matched the challan amounts, the downloading should not be a problem. the website is working fine. I just tried for another TAN.

can you try downloading the file on another computer? Its worth trying.

10 October 2013 What I want to say is when we visit NSDL Site for matching amount and challans, we genarally get number of records available for TAN but in my case when I select TAN and period the message displayed in No Records Found.

10 October 2013 just check your challans...ensure that TAN you are referring to is same against which tasx was deposited. Normally this won't happen unless challan was deposited in last 2-3 days.
